FAQ
Which favicon sizes do I need?
16, 32 and 48 for browsers, 180 for Apple touch icon, and 192/512 for Android and PWA manifests.
Is my logo uploaded?
No. Everything is drawn on a canvas in your browser.
Where do I put the files?
Unzip into your site root and paste the HTML snippet inside <head>.
Do I need a .ico file?
Modern browsers accept PNG favicons. Only legacy browsers need favicon.ico.
Why use a rounded shape?
It is purely style. Rounded and circle shapes look softer in browser tabs; apple-touch icons are masked by iOS anyway.
